As Sages have us believe for ages that there is some force behind this beautiful world of OURs.
The systematic movement of millions of Stars,planets
in the cosmos, timely sunshine and Rains, Billions of Numbers of Life on this earth makes us a very tiny creature ,one among billions. Still , we fight with EGO , think I am superior to every one, want everyone to obey us , respect us. WE know for certain that when call comes , we all have no choice but to leave all our prized belongings and leave naked.
This should not disappoint us and deterr us from action and put us into inaction. IF end is certain why work ? May be right. Then that maturity has to come to us. That conviction has to come to us. Tommorrow we should not repent while leaving that we wasted our life. That will be horrible.
We all know of Veda Vyasa maharshi's son " Shuka Maharshi ". When He decided to leave the body , Vyasa could not convince him into action. he was detached. He had realised his true self. That is where Body consciouness will be no more and then inaction is justified. Till then , to clear our poorva karma, we need action. Here our learned Yogis have suggested /shown three paths to purify ourselves, to peel off the cover of ignorance, result of thoughts
and deeds embedded in ourself ( May be, subconscious as scientists want us to believe) . Polularly known as Yogas.
Karma Yoga
Bhakthi Yoga
Jnana Yoga
We are at initial stage. Karma yoga is the beginning. Lord Krishna in clear and simple terms explains Karma Yoga. " Do your duty. Do not bother about results. " "Yogah Karmasu Koushalaha" Karma yoga is nothing but doing your job in an efficient way. let that job be of a watchman or Chairman. Do it perfectly. Do not bother about outcomes.
Bhakti helps us in our difficulties by providing a lender of last resort in banking terminilogy. This also Lord krishna preaches- "Sarva dharma parithyajjam, mamekam sharanam Vruja" - Leave all thoughts, cults , beliefs and surrender to me. I will take care of U.
These two together will elevate us to the level of Gnani. Knowledge of self. Self actualization. That is Moksha. With true knowledge of one's self, one gets removed of cover of "Maaya" and gets merged with God.
This is the ultimate aim. Liberation from this cycle of Birth and death and related Misery. Let us share and work toward this AIM as united children of Almighty. Let us play the game of life as per the rules set by Lord and win his heart. This is the Play ground. Let us play and enjoy. Good Luck. God Bless Us ALL.
