When you will relax?

When you will  relax? Yesterday I was travelling in my car with family to visit Lakshmi Narasimha temple at Sholinghur. The temple is known for its deity Narasimha blessing the devotees with health, wealth and peace and fulfils their prayers. We have to climb 1300 steps and full of Monkeys on the way. It was really a relaxation for mind and good exercise for body. While returning, my 10 th standard studying son mentioned to me something that his teacher told them in the class, on the following lines. “ I want to hit that person who told me in my college that struggle hard for four years and get good job. “ Life ban jaayega “. You can relax whole life thereafter. I find that happy days were the days enjoyed in school and college. After joining job , I am working day and night for the organization . Boss is not happy whatever you do as expectation is unrealistic. Colleagues try to put me down and show in bad light to project themselves as great heroes, to please the Boss. At ho

Mind , yoga , science and spiritual practices for success and happiness

Body mind relationship is a intensely debated topic. same way the spirit in us and it's relation with universal soul. Different beliefs are there around. There  are widely accepted  three  different interpretations of Vedas and Upanishads by great Gurus ( Advaitha from Shankara, Dvaita from Madhwacharya and Visistadvaita by Ramanujacharya) . Means mind is dependent on body. On the other side there is true that mind controls the body and mind has the capacity to cure any ailments through the power of belief and autosuggestion. Thus, clearly there is close relationship between body and mind. How do we use this knowledge for our betterment? Modern science acknowledges the power of subconscious mind. It has been proved through various studies that by controlling the mind you can completely control y

Nirvana shatakam Nirvana Shatakam is a wonderful contribution from Shri Shankaracharya. Clearly, exponent of Advaith school of philosophy, preaches us that man and God are same. We are God. Shivoham. Clearly explains all the false identities we associate ourselves with and keep worrying on all kind of challenges. His explanation of differentiating me from all false identities relieves us from all the worries. Ancient teaching in Upanishat for perfect and happy life - Ishopanishat

Ishavasya Upanishad – one stop solutioon for  happy life Right from my childhood I was very much impressed by the following three verses from this Isha Upanishad, which was source of strength for me in times of difficulties. Om Puurnnam-Adah Puurnnam-Idam Puurnnaat-Puurnnam-Udacyate | Puurnnasya Puurnnam-Aadaaya Puurnnam-Eva-Avashissyate || Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih || That (Brahma) is complete, whole; this(Jagat) is complete, whole .From the complete(Brahma)   comes the Jeeva /Jagat, which is also whole, complete. If completeness is taken away from complete, still complete only remains. This may be compared to Ocean which is water. If you take out some water from ocean, ocean remains still full and the water taken out has all the qualities of the water in the ocean. God being eternal and bliss, same applies to Jeevatma , we human beings. Our nature is peace, bliss and we are permanent. Go into different bodies, births. Just like child hood, young age, old age , death and r
